The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority’s (FICORA) vision is providing versatile, effective and secure communications connections and services for everyone in Finland. It missions is to work towards an effective and secure information society for the good of the people and business. FICORA's focuses for the strategic period of 2009-2015 are consumers and the citizens, the competitiveness of the business sector and effective society. FICORA's key operations are communications networks, communications markets, communications services, information security, radio frequencies and ensuring of the financing of the public service broadcasting. FICORA takes environmental viewpoints into consideration in all of its operations and development projects.
