The first QUASAR regulatory workshop was hosted at the BT Centre in London on November 29th. The workshop featured presentations by key regulators, industry and from the QUASAR project. FCC CTO Douglas Sicker (top left) and his Ofcom counterpart William Webb (right) commented on latest developments in TV White Space regulation and what they saw to be key issues for research and regulation Industry was represented in the form of Microsoft, Samsung, NXP besides the QUASAR partners BT and Ericsson.
Also recent QUASAR results were presented and valuable feedback was received by the project on its way to deliverable D1.2 on Regulatory Issues, due by the end of the year.
